This book was completely predictable and frustrating because of it. Way too many detailed descriptions about herbs and flowers and little "witch" rituals, and none of the rituals ended up doing anything anyway. I could see if you were 10 or 11, it might be a pretty good read. But, if you're an adult that likes YA novels - I wouldn't waste your time.

We read this shortly after reading the first in the series and while I enjoyed the introduction to Mozart and Vienna, it didn't have the flair and interest-level of the first book in the series. We're still continuing the series, but after we purchased book 3, one of my sons couldn't remember what happened in book 2 - not a good sign.
