Patrick Van Der Leede Van Der Leede itibaren Croft House
My sister read this ages ago and never bothered to read the sequel, which was why I didn't pick it up even though I've felt curious about it since the first time I saw it. Then I received it as a Christmas gift and I LOVED IT. It's a great story that really made me think about body image and media influence. (Turned out that that was exactly why my sister didn't pick up the next book, lol.)
- Ghost story that wasn't scary - All the right things happened when I wanted them to
This is one of those classics I somehow missed reading in school. 'Holland, 1945' means so much more to me now. The only girl I've ever loved Was born with roses in her eyes But then they buried her alive One evening 1945 With just her sister at her side And only weeks before the guns All came and rained on everyone - Neutral Milk Hotel
