A really interesting look back at a old-school (late 1970s) computer engineering. Tracy Kidder, as always, weaves a solid tale, and does a wonderful job telling a story through characters. If you are working a job, I suggest reading this book. There's a good bit of discussion about job motivation, dreams for the future, and all sorts of other issues that those in the working world think about every day.
