I remember reading this book when I was just a wee one with my Dad, who read my brother and I a story every night before bed, and sometimes two if we begged. This one lasted us maybe a week or two. If you like this one, I recommend also reading Willy Wonka and the Great Glass Elevator, which chronicles the events after Willy and Charli and Grabdpa Joe pick up the rest of the family.
