his best yet. the ending actually works.

A person who has not done one half of the day’s work by ten o’clock, runs a chance of leaving the other half undone.” “Try for yourself, if that be your spirit. I have done, and yield the argument to your saucy insolence.” (Saucy insolence! a great phrase!)
It was a quick read with interesting potential (from a feminist perspective) but I thought it fell short.
