Another work of Biblically inspired works. Provides a neat perspective of Sarai (before she becomes Sarah). A good look at ancient Mesopotamian culture. Illustrates well the romance between Sarah and Abraham and how it grew from when they were Sarai and Abram into their old age and the miracle birth of their first child. Books of this sort make Biblical stories more personal and relatable.

What a great audio book! No, this wasn't the scariest ghost story I've ever read, but it was a good, clean book to listen to. You could listen to this with your kids in the car.

Captivating traditional romance, some of the writing style demands your complete focus and the novel is darker than the one written by her sister, Charlotte (Jane Eyre) but still full of the fertive dreams and desires of a young woman to capture the heart of a mysterious and difficult young man with a past. This stuff never gets old.
