I liked this author's style and the story was interesting and original. This isn't an easy read, though, because the point of view shifts from Jake (1st person) to Crosetti (3rd person) to Bracegirdle (letters written in Jacobean English). It is also a lot longer than I think it needed to be. There were lots of plot twists, one of which I figured out early on, so the big reveal wasn't so big. Still, I enjoyed it and recommend it, especially to those interested in Shakespeare and/op British history.
