This book has lots of good writing. And lots of bad writing. And mostly it reads like the stories your weird bachelor uncle would tell you punctuating his comments with a gesture of his rocks glass full of cheap scotch. Or maybe that's just my family?
Another unusual premise ..... didn't totally love it but learned alot about transexuals and their struggle & in this case, success.
I enjoyed reading this book and like its overall message. It is written as if telling the story (often very grown up in subject matter) to a child. I still haven't decided whether this was charming or annoying. But the book is short and quick read and I'd read the sequels.
