Here is what Amazon.co.uk says about At Grave's End Life is never easy for half-vampire Cat Crawfield. Just when things are falling into place with her vampire lover Bones, everything else is falling apart. It seems everyone is out to get her - from Bones' enemies to her own. But as the fangs start to fly, Cat squares off against a ruthless foe who will use any supernatural means necessary to accomplish her objective - killing Bones. Will Cat survive? Will Bones? First the only reason this gets 3 stars instead of three is that this just wasn't as good as the other books in the series up till this point. It was so corny in points that it was funny and made me laugh. Dracula fighting cleopatra's daughter its very vampire cliche. Anway it was good but it wasn't as good as the first two and it just didn't hold my attention as well as the other two. I also hate it when authors fall back on the its all just a dream in their stories in this book you get the feeling that the reason this happened was because the story was falling apart. For me it was just very lack lustre. I will say I love Cat and Bones they are as Iconic as every other Urban fantasy couple out there and for that reason alone I'm finishing the series. I have them firmly in my head now and I love the way they are so devoted to each other. I love the fact that they go out kick a little ass then come home and sex it up. Its a good combination. I hope that the 4th installment is better, sometimes the third book in the series is weakest as there has been so much building up, the third has such high expectations and if its not completely sparkly fireworks it tends to let down. If I could I probably would have given this 3 1/2 instead of 4.
