found it! so. i don't know how i feel about this book. i really, really enjoyed the beginning, but i felt like the end was a big let down. i wanted . . . more. and the ending seemed so pat and, well, lame, that i don't really want to read the second book in the series - except that the darn blurb makes me want to find out what happens, EVEN THOUGH I ALREADY KNOW, because this book was so utterly predictable, it killed me. (hah. pun.) i loved riley, though. and i loved ever when she wasn't freaking out about damon. i still don't understand the whole cycle thing, and the scene with drina at the end almost had me laughing because it was so cliche. the book had so much promise in the beginning! sigh. oh, and it's not about vampires. not really. except, kind of? i don't even know. supernatural elements, for sure. not my favorite.
