This book struck me as being a bit of a departure from Ruth Rendell's style. It seemed to lack the twists and turns that I have come to expect from her. It takes quite a while to warm up but once it had gripped my imagination I had to find out who the baddy was.......

FLIPPED was/is a good read, i really enjoyed it. Flipped was a interesting story line. at friest it might be difficult to read so beware if your not a really stong reader, for it could be confusing to some one on how to fallow and understand. the characters are really fun and intersting (more so the girl than the boy.) I was a little disapointed on how the story came to end. when i read the last word of the last page of the last chapter i was sure and thought for a fact that there (if not already) be a secquil but i was sad to find out that there was not seond book to fallow up on all my questions. After i read Flipped and got to the end i almost had a thought to contact Wendelin Van Draanen and question her on why she stopped there with the story. i think maybe what the athour was trying to do was to let you image what would happen next; or maybe she was just being lazy. all i know is i definally recamend any one to read this book because it is a way fun read and i'm sure you will enjoy it. P.S. I'm a very picky reader and if i tell you i enjoyed it you might (don't have to) enjoy it too.:) THANKS.
