a great first book from the writing team of Jefferson Bass. It introduces memorable characters, some of which make it into the second book and a few who do not but I'm hoping that they pop up in the future! These can be a bit gruesome as they deal with forensic science and a real place called, The Body Farm, that recreates death scenes for scientific purposes, so you get lots of gross things described to you, but I'm not too squeamish so I don't mind. Good read if you can handle decomposing corpses being described to you!
