Vampire Academy? are you serious? an ACADEMY for VAMPIRES! How utterly dumbass is that? OK so the title itself is a total turn off, but i did read 'The Time Traveler's Wife' and ended up loving it, so i picked this up and decided to give it a try. BIG MISTAKE Mila BIG MISTAKE. Alright since this is like the second book I've rated with a 1 star it deserves an explanation. so here it goes... This novel didn't go anywhere, the plot was boring and the characters where full of dumb sarcastic dialogue. The main character Rose what's-her-name was extremely annoying! I think there's a difference with a strong character lead and someone that's up in your face all the time acting like a complete L.A chola (that means a girl-gangster, for those who don't live in California). There are few characters that i cannot stand and this women is on the top of my list. I also felt she had a weird overprotective lesbian crush on Lissa but wouldn't admit to it. But anyway I rarely- actually i never- give 1 star to a book but this one totally and completely deserves it.
