This was recommended for people who loved This is Where I Leave You by Jonathan Tropper (which is the funniest book I've ever read!). This novel is lacking the "fun" in dysfunctional families that both novels have. Within a few pages, I felt like I wanted to stop reading, as it was just...weird. But I kept going and managed to finish. I'm glad I did, but I'm still bothered by some of the inappropriate behavior -- too much is unexplained or enabled. I'm glad to put this book to bed!!
