I didn't like this one as much as the previous ones. Mostly because it dealt with plague and reading about such things makes me somewhat anxious. BUT, the first 150 pages are absolutely amazing. It's one long unbroken "scene" that is extremely gripping/engaging and well written. The book sort of petered out at the end, like the author got rushed/bored/came up against a deadline. It could have done for another 150-300 pages to really flesh it out.
