USA Today was correct when they said this was the one of best book of the summer! It is set in the neighborhood where my mom grew up so I could picture the houses, grocery store, her elementary school, ect. It is well written and a fun quick read.

Excellent book by Maguire...no surprise there! Currently on the shelves of our high school library and the kids enjoy it as well. If you like Maguire's characterization of other traditional fantasy characters -- Cinderella, the Wicked Witch of the East, Snow White, Little Match Girl, Hamlet, etc. -- you will love how he creates a backstory for the Tooth Fairy.
