This book is so much better than Twilight.
I really liked how the author combined information on each of the winds and then incorporated them into Celtic tales. I've been trying to "see" the wind since! Where cn I find out more?
Having grown up as a Christian Scientist, but no longer practicing (just like the author), this book appealed to me.
What a heartbreaking, hilarious tale. John and Lorraine are among the most realistic literary teens I've encountered. And Mr. Pignati...oh geez, I love that guy. Please, please read this book.
It's painfully apparent this woman fired her editor.
I loved this story! It is the tale of Harry Crewe a Homelander orphan girl who goes to the frontier to live near her brother Richard. One night she is taken from her bed by the king of the Free Hillfolk. When she wakes up she finds herself in a tent in the desert. In the next months she has a strange vision, learns how to ride a hill horse, is adopted by a large cat and is taught to fight with a sword.
