Yazar, çocuklarınıza sevgi ve saygı ile ebeveynlik yapmanıza yardımcı olacak pratik teknikler (ve arkasındaki teori) verir. Sevgi ve Mantık gibi diğer ebeveynlik kitaplarını okurdum ama bunun DAHA İYİ YÜKLER olduğunu düşündüm. Bu kitabın tamamen kafasına çiviyi vurduğunu hissettim ve ebeveynlerin çocuklarından neler bekleyebileceği ve ebeveynlerin neler beklemeleri ve kendilerinden talep etmeleri konusunda gerçekçi oldum! Bu kitabı çocukları olan herkese tavsiye ederim!

I'd love to ask Connor why she took this the way she did. This had the makings of a 5 star book for us. Julia was loving it, I was loving it, and then BOOM.... the boy and the bunny start talking to each other. In their minds. wtf? Even my daughter, at not even 6 years old, looked at me crazy with that one. The beginning was soo nice. Sweet, just what you'd expect from a book like this although I personally wouldn't call it "inspirational" I can see some people saying it is. The boy wants to be friends with the bunny in his garden and his Mother tried to explain ways for him to make this happen. Be patient, go slow, talk softly, leave him treats, etc. Care for him, be there for him no matter what, love him. And then. And then the bunny starts talking to him through telepathy is it? So basically we have a lovely little story about a boy and his would-be pet turning into either a boy with some pretty serious mental issues or a deranged bunny with some serious issues. Thaaaanks.....

I really wanted to like this book. It wasn't badly written, but I think Keyes relied to much on the content of the video games. The book offered nothing really new to the world, so I have to say it sort of failed. Nevertheless, I am a huge Elder Scrolls fan, so I will read the sequel.
