** spoiler alert ** If you like the blurb on the back of the book then you will NOT like the book itself. The blurb leads you to believe that you are going to read about the author's sister, Amy, whom is murdered by her boyfriend who has a criminal past. The author doesn't even get to that point until more than half way through the book! The book is basically about the author's crummy life; she has a creepy father who likes to kiss a little too long and hug a little too tight, she gets molested, she gets raped, she has a boyfriend who beats the crap out of her (who she finally leaves after he breaks her nose and a couple of her ribs), she marries an abusive man who basically makes her get breast implants (but makes her believe that she wants them) and makes her wear skanky clothes. If you're going to write a book about your life, fine. Just make sure the blurb is accurate and not misleading. If I would have known that the book was going to be 95% of the author's abusive life, then I wouldn't have read it. It's just not my cup of tea. Edit to add: It really bugged me that quotation marks weren't used for dialog.

These books got progressively worse and more annoying as the series went on, and this was THE worst and most annoying of them all.

Better than the first one. This one actually has a much more fleshed out plotline. The main character still seems to fall in love without enough foreshadowing (if any). Not a bad story, but not great. I give it more of a 3.5
