This novel was unlike anything I have ever read. I was not expecting it to be the way it was. Gosh I wanna live in this world! An alternate 50's? heck yes. I really really liked the characters, every single one of them was so unique and interesting, and they all had secrets! what the heck, i was s surprised at all the secrets everyone had. Cal was the biggest surprise! The relationship between Aoife and Dean was sweet. It developed at a normal pace and I was so happy they weren't declaring their love for each other after a few days together. I cant wait to read more about them! The ending was awesome. I was excited to hear about adventuring to a third world in the next book. I was also excited to find out I was right about the identity of the doctor! I knew it! :) A very richly detailed, beautiful story, I cannot wait to devour the rest of it!
