I LOVED this book. Not only was it hilarious at times, I thought his storytelling offered good life advice.

I enjoyed reading this, though McCourt's style wore a little thin at times. Still, though, I was glad to see that the little urchin from his previous memoir survived and grew into a decent man.

I didn't like this one as much as Coelho's other books. Maybe bc it was all about loooove & I'm not feeling that right now. I also felt that Pilar came off as childish & the fact that she was being written that way by a man when she could have been so much stronger really irked me.

Read this to my daughter at bedtime, along with a few others, it was not great. I am very pleased that it was a library book and I won't have to read it many more times.
