I was slow getting into it, but with all the accolades attached to it, I stuck with it. Blah. None of the characters touched me and I didn't find it written with tons of insight. The plot is an interesting story of guilt and the innocent becoming the victim. But I didn't find it "Irresistible" (on the back cover).
