This Graphic novel about an Chinese American, Monkey God, and a White American has an interesting twist of humor, mythology, and society all together which is why I recommend to others to read this Graphic novel.

Fat or not, one could still relate to this anthology. It tackles the topic of ~fatness in such a way how others would discuss anorexia, addiction, etc. For instance, there would be stories about fat being invisible, fat being too visible, fat being hated, fat being rejected, fat being loved, and of course, fat being lived. Like a smorgasbord of life, really, just centered on being fat. Maybe it can sometimes be profound but never preachy, and some of the stories were even ~inspirational and funny, like "Queen of the Gym," whose author is a 200+pounder who goes to the gym daily and finds out she has become an inspiration to some people there, and of course, David Sedaris' story about her sister's fat suit. But honestly, I'd have to say that while it was entertaining and sometimes relatable to read, it didn't really leave that big a mark.
