One of my all time favorite books. I have read it cover to cover at least 3 times (unabridged only) from the time I was 17.

This was a fun romp back into the 1980s as seen from people in what I'm calling a WMORG (world multiplayer) in the bleak future where the game is better than RL. The geek factor is high, but if you saw lots of 1980 teenage movies or played video games, it's a good read. It has the required elements of story telling, protagonist, high and lower level goals, an antagonist and lots of internal conflict. Not everything is fun and games... There are predictable moments. Especially with the bad evil corporation. And at least one point where I think they added a part that fit into a quest poorly. That being said, It filled my geeky heart.

One of the most unique inventive stories I have read in a long time. I really enjoyed the book and how it unfolds, a highly recommended book that was picked up on a recommendation from a worker at Waterstone in London...good job.
