I accidentally got this book as i have already read it in the 3 vols in 1 form called "Forging the Rebel". The Track is v. 2. Details author's sign up in the army and shipping out to Morocco and fighting there for a few years, de-mobbed and going back to a Spain in confusion and depression and Primo as dictator. Such an interesting story and story teller. You can really get a good idea of what Spain and its culture, military, rich and poor, work, play were like in 1923, and see how and why it exploded into civil war about a decade later.
