This is the first time I read a Ken Follett book. I thought I was in for a boring read but I was wrong. I get caught up into it that I did not mind lugging the somewhat heavy, thick book around.

An adventure story you won't forget!! Jon Krakauer's personal account of climbing Mt. Everest in May 1996 and the disaster that happend during that expedition. A wonderful, riveting story. I couldn't put it down until I was finished. I can't for the life of me figure out why these people attempt such dangerous climbs! It seems to be in their blood and becomes such an overwhelming psychological need that they HAVE to do it! Amazing!!
