this book made me decide to become an environmental lawyer. its more or less one the most important books in my life. it still makes me cry when i read it.

A wonderful, timeless story. I just disliked Emma herself. I definitely had sympathy for her and her situation, but she bugged me. She made her probelms so much worse, and in the end, I sort of felt she got what was coming to her. I realize mine is a very mature take on this classic.
