It had a disturbing beginning, but it was a great book.

I'll flip through this one at the bookstore and see if it looks worthwhile. Prague was great, but his second book (Egyptologist) was a disappointment.

A very challenging book...but well written. You might have to do a little research on the Jewish faith in order to be better able to understand some sections of the book. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this story!

Cassandra Clare's story comes to an excellent conclusion in the third book of her Mortal Instrument's series. Clary is still searching for a cure for her mother's illness while Jace and the rest of the Lightwoods head to Idris for debates and in preparation for an imminent war. Simon is still dealing with changes and Valentine has some pretty evil plans in place. I couldn't have asked for a better ending to an excellent series. I feel a need to for closure when I read a series and I certainly got my wish. All the loose ends were tied up nicely and the author kept me wondering through the whole book what was going to happen. I laughed, cried, and ached with the characters in this amazing tale of love, survival, desire, and above all family. An excellent read and I look forward to what Cassandra Clare might come up with next.
