Bad introduction, no maps. WTF?

Wow. I'd heard of this book before, and I'd heard that it was great, but I never got around to reading it until yesterday. It's fabulous. It's warm and sad and sweet all at the same time, and I wish I had known about it back when I was in high school. I definitely think everybody should read this book at least once.
