re-reading for class. love the use of language in the book, although the subject matter is... well, disturbing. but that's part of the point.

A.M. Homes is one of the most brilliant writers I've read. I appreciate her willingness to push the bounds of our comprehension of humanity. She is eccentric and funny in her writing. Safety of Objects if a collection of short stories that span the depth of our unspoken neurosies. I would read it again and recommend it to my friends. The story about the boy who has a relationship with his sister's barbie doll is rad.
