Struggling to read . . anybody want to read this with me. I need incentive!

It's the most compelling case for abridgment I've ever encountered. It's also kind of an affront to anyone who ever went for a degree in the humanities, I think. There are elements of the story, though, that could have been rewritten into something promising.

Good book. if you haven't read it, i say you should. Love how everything is so detailed, from the beginning of the crazy to the final moment when they were rescued. Disliked the movies, but the best one was the one made on the 80's.

I read this on a car trip this summer when I had finished my book and I hijacked one of the ones my sister wasn't using. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Avi was still awesome because I remembered reading and loving a few good Avi novels when I was younger.

This poor book has had some interesting translations which gives it a slight disadvantage to the Book of Mormon, but the Spirit can still be felt while reading this amazing book.
