People talk about cyberpunk, and they talk about "Neuromancer," which is great. But then everything else they talk about is crap. This is not. It’s Neuromancer on steroids, but far more likely to actually happen – and, in fact, a lot of what’s in Snowcrash came to exist, and that which didn’t, you will recognize immediately. Also, it’s extremely entertaining.

Ok, I'll say it. I really liked this book. It wasn't a great piece of literature but it wasn't "gag me" writing either. It was a light and funny mystery/paranormal romance that I found I couldn't put down for some reason. It was just a lot of fun. This is an adult book with sex and some more sex. But it didn't read like a smutty Harlequin. I look forward to reading more of the series.
