I'm still trying to truly figure out how I feel about this book. The subject matter was very dark and I Found myself putting it down for a break. However it was an intriguing book and I can definitely see myself reading the next in the Legacy series.

LOVED IT!!! Watched the movie after reading the book...so much better but still love the movie!!

Robinson's writing is some of the most beautiful I've ever read. This tale of a dying preacher is best described as a love letter from a father to his son. It is insightful, uplifting and life-affirming.
