it occurs to me that very few of the books prescribed by public schooling are worth reading. this saddens me. too bad the damn pta and concerned parents keep getting in the way. it will be nice the day narrow minded folk realize that just because they don't like something doesn't mean a) it is pornography b) their child won't learn from it
King moves away from the horror genre to give something which is part si-fi/fantasy and part social commentary on prejudice. Again i prefered the book over the film.
