I read this book when I was younger but didn't remember much except the familiarity as I read along. I wish there was more development and an actual ending...not a big fan of open endings like that. That being said, it was one of the first dystopian books and paved the way for a successful genre

This is really a book for introverts, not more broadly for people who like meeting and talking to new people but find networking in particular awkward or uncomfortable. Had a few useful tips sprinkled throughout, but those could have been collected in an article rather than a book.

Mo Hayder continues to both disturb and mesmerize me.
