Rosalyn finds herself drawns to the enigmatic logger who rescues her on a rain swept Oregon road. But will Shea Donahue remain broken by the tragedy in his own past?
There's a reason this won the pulitzer. It is unbelievable. I think everyone needs to read it, as it humanizes thiings like transexuality, gender dysphoria, homosexuality, and hermaphroditism -- things that are often portrayed in a completely unrealistic way in the media. I loved it, because it isnt preachy but there are still lessons there. Its also just a great narrative.
