In dystopian future in city names Portland, where love is considered a disease and a cure is mandatory for every individual at the age of 18, lives a 17 year-old girl named Lena. At the beginning, Lena wishes for the cure before it is time, she wanted to reach the hallucination shores of safety, happiness, and all the other lies that the cure has to offer. Then, why not? A love free life, no more worries about being heart broken, or struggle to find the perfect match of your dreams. It does sound fascinating, you no longer care about anybody, your match had been already made for you, the evaluators will plan your life, all you have to do is live it, be a good citizen and you'll get all the amazing things the cure has to offer! But what kind of life is that? \if we don't love, make our own choices, enjoy our selves and even make mistakes, then what is the point of it? Delirium by Lauren Oliver is indeed a great read, which I totally loved :)

My favorite and most dogeared of the 8 book series, I was inspired to read this book by the show on PBS (which I still watch if I see it is on). I can't wait to share this book with my own daughters someday. What an imagination Anne has!
