so far... it's ok. the backstory of the taj mahal made somewhat more boring. it's told through the viewpoint of the emperor's daughter- would have have preferred the queen but that's just me. still- it's a book about the Mughul Empire in India- can't beat that. So I will stick it out. It might just take me a while.

I really liked the brief interviews (especially the last one)and wished there were more. The other short stories just didn't do it for me because they seemed a bit too incomplete.
