One of the more difficult reads of my life, but I'll never forget this book and I'm glad that I struggled through it. Like ee cummings, Faulkner gets easier the more you reads his work.

Almost gave it 4 stars, as I liked it, but it is not as good as some of her other work with some inconsequential filler and unanswered questions and loose ends.

A very interesting comparison/analysis of various English versions of the classic tale "Beauty and the Beast".
