Whoa, this was just like Perks of Being A Wallflower. (Which is weird to say because Girl came first before Perks) Just with more sex, drugs, and music. And that it was written from the point of view of a teenage girl. Speaking of which, it was incredible how Blake Nelson was able to establish and maintain Andrea Marr's voice and character up to the end (Who knew a man could actually think like a girl??). Such an honest voice, telling what happens in her world as it is, and engaging narrator. I also liked the way the story openly ended, almost asking you to fill out the rest of her story. Just hope the sequel Nelson wrote on Figment (http://blog.figment.com/dreamschool/i...) is as good.
Not my favorite Sookie book but I still want more! I am so excited to see what happens on the show "True Blood" because so far the books have taken some very unexpected turns!
