This book is the definitive biography of Mary Queen of Scots, who has fascinated me since I began reading on Tudor history. Fraser gives a sympathetic account of her arrival in France, as well as her long incarceration in England, without compromising on historical accuracy. A fantastic read for any fan of medieval history.
