I give this one four stars for it's genre. It's a fun book for young adults and young-ish adults. I enjoyed the snarky pop-culture style of Lisa and Laura Roecker. They brought on the fast-paced-you'll-never-guess-the-plot-twist writing. An overall fun read!

this book was great, im glad i finally gotten around to it and i would move straight on to the next book in this series except i have a few other books that will need to be re-turned to the library soon and im hoping to read them before that. lots of people have complained about Cal's out-look on life, personally i thought it was fantastic! it was a great mix of snarky and sarcastic! which had me smiling throughout the book. what can i say?? people who are always optimistic get on my nerves sometimes, lol. Niko was bad-ass for someone who is meant to be only human he is like a super ninja! and he balances out his brother well. the relationship they have with each other is wonderful, and i really enjoyed being able to read a book were the two main characters loved and cared about each other but didnt get it on (which would have been insanely wrong being that there brothers and all). and well what i can say about Puck except that he's Puck! ever since i have read the iron fey books i have loved Robin, he such a fun quirky character and i love how he tricks people into thinking thats all there is about him when we know he has much depth, and other fantastic traits to his personality. Rob Thurman is a great writer.. not the best in my opinion but up there. some one his quotes i didnt get but what can i say?? im not into Shakespeare though i have decided i should prob get my hands onto a copy of The Brothers Grimm story tales - they have been popping up everywhere lately! Thurmans descriptions were so detailed i had no problem picturing whatever "beasties" he was describing at the time, which is a spectacular talent to have! i dont know if they hand out awards to writers but Thurman should get one this this alone. :D i enjoyed his book so much i'v decided to rate it 4 stars! :D i do have to say though... was it just me or did the brothers walk around half naked most of the time?? is that normal, do guys always just wonder around with only towels on when there are only dudes in the area?? i have to say if they do that is really odd, lol.
