This was a fun book. I enjoyed it.

Not a Kurt Wallender book. Compelling!! I wish bookends had a 4+ rating. I almost never rate as 5 but this one comes close. Very detailed AND personal. Ties all details together but not until the very end. Could not put it down, even though my eyes begged me to. Main character: Inspector Lindman who has just been diagnosed with cancer and travels to another district to avoid thinking of his treatment and possible imminent death. He gets involved with a investigation that involves underground Nazi supporters in the present.
