I love the bad scifi. And this is awful scifi. Weird archetypes put together in bizarre ways, with a story that just barely makes sense. Lots of fun. Some nice VR set pieces, but I wish there were more of them. They're pretty much the only successful parts of the novel.
This was a quick read. More of a parenting book than memoir, which is what I read it for (the memoir, not parenting. Do not need that yet!). It is very entertaining. Soleil had a very unconvential, yet fascinating upbringing. And a happy childhood, especially being a child star. She is very insightful as a mom, too, I think. I recommend if you are a Punky Brewster fan (or wondered what happened to her) or a parent or aunt or uncle or child caregiver.
Interesting Diet based upon blood type. Easy read, anybody interested in fitness/health should give it a look see.
finished it last night. it was a great read. but funny thing is everyone else stood out more than Jace, specially Sebastian, which was a little unnerving but understandable. looking forward to the next one. ^.^
