You'll gain insight on the lives of Romans, Pharisees, Sadducees, Zealots, and disciples of Christ. Incredibly, incredibly interesting book and very well researched. Every chapter has lengthy footnotes if you care to read about his sources.

and then there were none is a great book i loved it it realy keeps you guessing throughout the entire book. although it is a bit confusing at the begging of the book it pays off in the long run.
