Fascinating premise, clumsily executed. Requires re-reading.
This was a fascinating exploration of 28 fundamental principles that the founders used to organize the government and which guided the creation of the constitution of the United States of America. I thoroughly enjoyed reading all of the direct quotations from the founders themselves, Jefferson, Washington, Franklin, Adams & Monroe to name a few. I find myself longing to live in a time where the general populus of our country is well informed and educated on the histories of both well-founded and disastrous government models. This is a book that reads quickly and easily and well worth the time.
