Satisfying but forgettable.

This story is about Anita and her family. She lives in the Dominican Republic and aside from turning into a teenager she discovers the truth about the person theyve been taught in school to worship,El Jefe. El Jefe is the dictator whom Anita and others close to her are trying to bring down. The story shows the hardships and what life could've been if you were living there in that time period. How people were tortured to rat out names of those who were trying to get rid of El Jefe and those who fought and risked their lives for the better of their country.
