It was ok, I found it pretty frustraiting, the way the characters acted...yeah

Finally read this one in December. Amazing and worthy of it's place in the sci-fi pantheon. Betrayal, poison, survival, royalty, evolution, biology, technology, succession, loyalty, revenge. It's basically a renaissance era drama that boarded a rocket ship deep into the future and crash landed into a galaxy with enormous desert-bound worms. Epic in scale and many years in the making. Grab the 40th anniversary edition and enjoy the account by the author’s son about his father’s ceaseless devotion to this work. It was Frank Herbert’s life’s work. And if feels like it. If you've only ever seen the movie, do your best to forget you've ever did and pick this one up.
