The insanity of museum employees, well documented, with a thinly-veiled jab at ancient historians and archaeologists...
I borrowed this book from the library. Although I can't wait to start some of the patterns, others are generic that I've seen in several other knitting books. The introductory section with the knitting fiber descriptions is somewhat interesting, but I skipped over it for the most part. Overall, a good free book to borrow from your local library but I wouldn't buy it.
I really like his "Murder" series. I am a WWII buff so this appealed to me. The story is enriching and full of likable characters. I really felt as if Collins was channeling Edgar Rice Burrows. Yes it is a fictional story but the amount of research made the reader feel as if they were truly there. If you liked this one, definitely pick up Titanic Murders and the London Blitz Murders. You won't regret it!
