Pete gave me a copy of this book when we first started dating. That should have been a tip off but no I did not heed the warning. Anywho, I like to read Bukowski books when I feel bad about myself because once I read them I realize that if a crazy, drunken, sex fiend can make it, so can I.

Why NOT go from a psychological healing book to a live production of Les Miserables (WOW!) to a book about a hermaphrodite; I mean, really?! I am interested to see if they can sensitively, entertainingly, and inoffensively cover this topic. We shall see. I love the author's voice. Amazing writer! I wish about 3/4 of the way through was a little less risque. I still enjoyed the book and am not sorry I finished it, but would not recommend for the sensitive, conservative reader.
